Back in January, I set a goal on my goodreads page to read 50 books this year. And so far, I’ve read 11 books! I’m always searching for recommendations of good books to read, so here are the five that I definitely plan on reading in the next couple of months.
All the Ugly and Wonderful Things
“A powerful and shocking love story between two unlikely people that asks tough questions, reminding us of all the ugly and wonderful things that life has to offer.”
Everything You Want Me to Be
“This book reconstructs a year in the life of a dangerously mesmerizing young woman, during which a small town’s darkest secrets come to the forefront…and she inches closer and closer to death.”
The Nightingale
“As the (second world) war progresses, the sisters’ relationship and strength are tested. With life changing in unbelievably horrific ways, Vianne and Isabelle will find themselves facing frightening situations and responding in ways they never thought possible as bravery and resistance take different forms in each of their actions.”
Go Set a Watchman
“Here is an unforgettable novel of wisdom, humanity, passion, humor and effortless precision–a profoundly affecting work of art that is both wonderfully evocative of another era and relevant to our own times.” I re-read To Kill A Mockingbird last month in preparation for reading this one!
All the Missing Girls
“This is a nail-biting, breathtaking story about the disappearances of two young women—a decade apart—told in reverse.” Read this if you enjoyed The Woman in Cabin 10.

Well I’m not really into novels but when it comes to reading, I’m sure you’ll be gaining a lot from those books.
I am more into self-improvement book. The one I am reading right now is the 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen R Corey and I am writing some of the many valuable lessons from it on my blog. You might wish to check it out here if you feel like:
