Vegan Coffee Creamer

Recently I saw that Califia Farms had created a “Better Half” aka their non-dairy version of half and half. On their label it just says Coconut Cream & Almond Milk. Since I’ve yet to see this product in stores to be able to try it myself and I happened to have an open can of coconut cream, I thought I would just attempt to make my own creamer…and it worked out pretty well! Here’s what I did…

Vegan Coffee Creamer

What You Need

Yields enough for 1 cup of coffee
∇ 1 cup of hot coffee
∇ 1-2 Tbsp coconut cream (I got mine at Trader Joe’s)
∇ 1/3 cup almond milk
∇ 1 tsp agave (optional)
∇ Whisk (get cute mini ones here)
∇ Extra mug or bowl to mix in

almond-milk-pour

What You Do

∇ Add coconut cream and almond milk to a mug or bowl, heat in microwave for 30 seconds
∇ Stir to mix a bit, microwave for another 30 seconds
∇ Add agave, if using (I added because I used unsweetened almond milk)
∇ Whisk mixture together and it should get a little foamy at the top
∇ Pour into coffee and enjoy!

whisk
Foam on top means it’s ready to add to the coffee!

If you make it, I’d love to hear what you think!
